Explaining the New Missal

With the whole Catholic Church in America, we started using the new English translation of the Roman Missal on the First Sunday of Advent. Father Augustine used the homilies of Advent to reflect on the way Jesus Christ continues to come among us at every celebration of Mass. These are the titles of the homilies:

I.   November 27th — Gathering to greet the Lord

II. December 4th — Listening to the Word

III. December 11th — Obeying the Lord’s command

IV. December 18th – Receiving and learning to give
