Dear St. Charles Families,
As we continue through this third day of clean-up, I am aware that some still do not have power or the debris cleared from their property. Please know that you remain in our prayers. However, we have begun to see the light at the end of the tunnel; therefore, I can announce that the church and office are fully functional. We resumed our normal mass schedule today, and we will continue with the normal mass schedule going forward. The phones and internet are fully operational, so the church office will resume its normal operational hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM beginning tomorrow, Thursday Sept. 14.
Unfortunately, because of power issues and the need to make sure all three schools are fully operational and safe, St. Charles, Bishop Moore, and Morning Star will remain closed the rest of this week. Both St. Charles and Bishop Moore will be open for scheduled athletic events beginning this Saturday, and students will return to class starting Monday, September 18.
As things slowly get back to normal, may we continue to feel the presence of God in our lives and may Our Blessed Mother continue to protect and interceded for us.
