Altar Servers at St. Charles Borromeo

Serving at the altar is a beautiful and sacred ministry that allows our young parishioners to grow closer to Christ and take an active role in the celebration of the Mass. Altar Servers assist the priest and deacon during liturgies, helping to ensure the Mass is celebrated with reverence and grace.

This ministry is open to boys and girls who have received their First Communion, are in at least 3rd grade, and who demonstrate a desire to serve the Church with reverence, commitment, and maturity.

Altar Servers will receive training and ongoing support to learn the responsibilities and significance of their role. Serving at the altar helps deepen one’s understanding of the Mass and fosters a spirit of leadership, prayer, and service.

We invite families to consider encouraging their children to participate in this meaningful ministry.
