“Because the loaf of bread is one, we, though many, are one body…” – 1 Corinthians 10:17

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are lay men and women who assist in the reverent distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ during Mass. Their ministry is a beautiful expression of service, faith, and love for the Eucharist.

If you are a practicing Catholic who has received the sacraments of Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation, and feel called to serve in this role, we invite you to take the next step.

Please complete the interest form below. Once we receive your submission, we will contact you to schedule a meeting with the Pastor to begin your discernment and formation process.

Ministers are required to complete a Diocesan Formation Workshop (a five-hour course that offers both spiritual and practical preparation for this sacred ministry.) Once the formation is completed and the individual is officially mandated by the Bishop, they will also receive an in-house parish training to become familiar with local procedures and pastoral expectations.

This ministry not only strengthens our liturgical life but also invites you to grow deeper in your relationship with Christ, present in the Eucharist and in those you are called to serve.
